Welcome, dear fans of Battlestar Galactica’s Laura Roslin and William Adama!
It is my pleasure to introduce this site dedicated to fan fiction featuring this masterful pairing of characters. I hope you all enjoy the stories you find here as I and some of my fellow writers wade into the deep end of A/R fan fiction.
Our sincerest desire is to treat this love affair with the respect it is due. After all, how often in popular entertainment do we see two characters approach a relationship with such maturity (i.e. physical attraction isn’t the driving force) and yet with an almost childlike innocence?
Does that mean we won’t feature our favorite couple in heated moments? Absolutely not. I think most of us can agree there is some serious chemistry between these two, and I can vouch for the fact it’s virtually impossible for a muse to ignore it completely — at least for mine at any rate. But I do feel it’s important to keep in mind that sex with these two runs a very distant second (possibly even third) to the deep bond of their hearts.
This is a love affair for the ages and I for one am glad to have the opportunity to watch it unfold, and am thrilled my muse found them a more than worthy challenge to write.
