The third season episode of Battlestar Galactica, “Unfinished Business,” is perhaps the best of the show. It is certainly one of my favorites as it delves into the personal lives of the characters and sheds some light on what happened during that “missing” year on New Caprica. There was one thing about “Unfinished Business,” however, that I always wondered about: Where did Admiral Bill Adama’s uniform jacket go after he took it off to fight Chief Tyrol? Well, I finally know, and I’m now going to share with you (in case you didn’t already know). Check out the picture below:

That’s right, Madame President is holding the Admiral’s jacket! We all knew he’d asked her to hold his glasses before he climbed into the ring, but the whereabouts of his jacket was something of a mystery until I caught sight of the red piping and blue fabric over Laura Roslin’s arm. A closer look revealed the above. I don’t know about you, but I find this a quiet but publicly poignant action on Adama’s part, even Roslin’s. It is also remarkably sweet, speaking to the nature of the love that binds them, so deep and yet so very guileless. ** The pictures used in this post are copyrighted images and are used here for informational and entertainment purposes only. It is purely a possible — and hopefully plausible — set of stepping stones in the development of their relationship.
